Wow...I was stunned to learn of Leigh’s passing. Living in Virginia I’m a bit out of the loop, hence my delayed response. Her warm hospitality and of course the giggle were her trademark. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

Our deepest condolences go out to all of Leighs family and friends. I am grateful she didn't have to suffer for years but there will always be a void in my life. Dear Marita and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Leigh, she was a wonderful person. I enjoyed talking to her whenever I returned to the area and always used to stop by and have a chat. She always went out of her way to help resolve a problem with speed and efficiency. She would always ask where I had traveled and how my girls were. A huge loss to the community and all who knew her.

Leigh was like a sister to us she was my closest friend when I worked at Tasses. She always had a bright smile on her face and if you had a problem she was always their to lend an ear, we adored our friendship with her and loved her very much Deb and I are heart broken with her passing and we will cherish the memories we had with her. As a customer of Tasse's, Ed & I came to know Leigh pretty well. She always was helpful, but more than that genuinely cared about what we were going through. When Ed would go in, she would always ask about me and visa versa. It is with heavy hearts that we read this, but we know that we will see Leigh again where we will all be free of pain.
