Southbridge - William "Billy" A. McDonald, 55, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his home following an illness.
Billy is survived by his long time partner and the mother of his children, Donna Kekelik. He is also survived by his 3 daughters, Patricia Saliu, and her husband Gazmir Saliu, of Worcester, Jessica McDonald of Milbury, and Jennifer Kekelik of Spencer; his son, Joseph McDonald of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Audrina Saliu, Sofia Saliu, Ella Saliu, Scarlett DiRoberto, Savaya DiRoberto, and Vivianne McDonald; 2 brothers, John McDonald of Framingham, and Jimmy McDonald of Southbridge; and 2 sisters, Mary McDonald and Rita McDonald, both of Southbridge. Billy was predeceased by his sister Kelly McDonald.
Born in Putnam, CT, Billy was the son of the late Arthur and Simone (Rivst) McDonald. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, NASCAR races, and Ford Mustangs. In his younger years, Billy was a drummer in a band, and enjoyed riding dirt bikes. Most of all, Billy enjoyed family time, and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he lovingly referred to as his "Sticky Bandits".
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 9:30-10:45AM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. A prayer service will begin at 10:45AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at 12Noon at New Notre Dame Cemetery, 746 N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA.
