Theresa R. (Nadeau) St. Laurent

Sturbridge...Heaven gained a saint today, March 27, 2018,  with the passing of a remarkable woman, Theresa R. (Nadeau) St.Laurent, 87, a longtime resident of Sturbridge, died Tuesday, at UMass Memorial Medical Center/University Campus, after a brief illness. 
She is survived by 5 sons André St.Laurent (Debby) of Gloucester, Marius St.Laurent (Joan) of Sturbridge, Conrad St.Laurent (Wendy) of Holland , Henry St.Laurent (Carol) of Fitchburg, and Gerard St.Laurent and his wife Debra L. of Sturbridge, and 5 grandchildren Ashley, Shelby, Alex, Emilee and Sarah.

She also is survived by 4 brothers Roland, Robert, Bertrand, and Armand, and 5 sisters Yvonne, Lucille, Jeanne, Hermonce, and Gisele all of Sherbrook, Canada, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 9 children Victor, Gilbert, Donald, Diane, Carmen, Gaston, Denis, Francois and Joseph, by her brother Jacques, and by her former husband Marc St.Laurent, who died in 2015. 

 
She was born in St. Isidore d' Auckland, Canada, daughter of Josephat and Mary (Perron) Nadeau, and has lived here for many years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Anne's Church in Fiskdale. She worked for 38 years at the Sturbridge Host Hotel, retiring in 2016.

The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at 10AM in St. Anne/St. Patrick's Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale, MA 01518. A calling hour will be held from 8:30-9:30AM prior to the mass at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Anne/St. Patrick's Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale, MA 01518.  Burial will be in Canada.
