Theresa (Lachapelle) Peck

Southbridge...Theresa (LaChapelle) Hufault Peck, 97, died May 19, 2024, at UMass Memorial Health/Harrington. 

Her husband was the late Romeo Peck who died in 2004.  Her first husband was the late Omer Hufault who died in 1981.

She leaves her daughter Anne Marie Sweeney and her husband Russell of Sturbridge. She also leaves her granddaughter Michelle Sweeney, and 3 great-grandchildren; Trinity Pereira, Ginamarie Maldonado, and Eliyana Velez, and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Oliver Lachapelle, Jr., who died in 1955, and her sister and brother-in-law Gloria and Roland Julian.

Mrs. Peck was born in Southbridge, October 28, 1926, daughter of Oliver and Lea (Ferron) Lachapelle, and has lived here all her life.  She was a member of Notre Dame Church (Parish of St. John Paul II) and graduated from the former Notre Dame High School, Class of 1945. Mrs. Peck retired from the Southbridge Credit Union, where she worked for many years as a teller.

She enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

The funeral Mass will be held on June 7, 2024, at 11AM, at Notre Dame Church, (please meet directly at the church) 446 Main Street, Southbridge.  Burial will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Arnold Road, Sturbridge (Fiskdale), MA
