Susan Wetherbee Obituary

Southbridge...Susan A. (Savage) Wetherbee, 63, died Thursday, at UMass Memorial Medical Center after an illness.   She is survived by her son Patrick M. Wetherbee and his wife Corrie of Southbridge, and her daughter Leanne Russo and her husband Kellen of Brimfield,  2 granddaughters Emma Wetherbee and Adyson Russo.  She also leaves 3 brothers David Savage and his spouse Carl Leuci of Eustis, FL, Robert Savage of North Carolina, and Kenneth Savage and his wife Eileen of Ivoryton, CT.

Susan was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Edward S. and Jeannette R. (Grenier) Savage and has lived here all her life.  She was a high school graduate and most of her life was a homemaker devoted to caring for her children.

She enjoyed puzzle-making, and crocheting and knitting, making jewelry, and listening to country music. She also enjoyed watching NFL football, and after the game would call her son to talk about the game. But, most of all, she loved spending as much time as she could visiting her children and grandchildren. Susan was loved very much and will be missed by many who had the opportunity to meet her. We will look forward to seeing her in the future again.

Susan’s family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and caring staff who helped her through the years, and the kindness they’ve shown.

A Memorial talk will be given January 2 at 2pm on zoom.  There are no calling hours or burial at this time.
