Shirley was born in Springfield, MA in May 11, 1933, daughter of the late Armand and Mabel (LeClaire) Menard Dion, and has lived in Sturbridge for many years.
Shirley was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church in Southbridge, more than 50 years ago. She has been a blessing and an inspiration throughout the decades, as she honored God with her faithfulness, dedication and long time service. She will be greatly missed by her church family but remembered for the joyful sparkle in her eyes, her spunky personality and the fun we had with her as we all grew closer to the Lord.
Shirley’s pride and joy was her grandson, Mario Perazzola Jr., whom she nurtured and helped to raise. She took him many places, taught him many life lessons, and was so proud to bring him to family parties, get togethers and special events.
