Scott M. Ciukaj

                          "It is with heavy hearts, we have said our goodbyes to our beloved brother, and Uncle Scott."

Southbridge...On Friday, March 20, 2021, at approximately 11PM, Scott M. Ciukaj, born January 19th, 1964, son of the late Norman LaBarge and Jean (Ferron) Cuikaj, silently passed after a brief illness at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA, after being stricken ill at work.

He leaves behind four brothers, Gordon LaBarge of Grand Junction, Co., Todd Ciukaj of Woodstock, CT., Kevin LaBarge of North Port, Florida, Kevin Leger of Fitchburg, MA. and three sisters, Nancy Nadeau and Lisa Lemieux both from Southbridge, MA., Deborah Stanger of Grand Junction, Co. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by both parents, two brothers, Brian LaBarge of Tucson, Az., Randy Ciukaj, of Florida and a sister, Norma (LaBarge) Collete, of Worcester, MA.

Scott was an exemplary and devoted employee of Createk-Stone Inc., of Southbridge for 6 years.

A compassionate and gentle soul, one who realized a simple, humble existence was to be the life he treasured, never did he want more, always content. He rode his bike wherever he needed to go, loved his tiny apartment, his family, and his life. He was a member of the Southbridge Pool League, loved the Pats and the Red Sox.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, May 22nd, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550, burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge Avenue, Southbridge, MA. (written by NN)
