Ruth D. (Sicard) Mason

Southbridge - Ruth D. (Sicard) Mason, 63, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, surrounded by her family, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, following an illness.  
Her husband was the late Eric S. Mason, who died December 13, 2014.  She is survived by her son, Adolph Mason, and his wife, Kerry Ann, of Hudson, MA; her daughter, April M. Dupuis, and her husband, James, of Southbridge; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Donald Sicard of Southwick, MA; and her sisters Sandra Cass of Ludlow, MA, Kim Petrie of Cameron, NC, and Debra DeSousa of Ludlow, MA.  Ruth was predeceased by her son, Horace J. Smith, who died in 2008, and her brother, Jean Paul Sicard.  
Born October 5, 1954, in Biddeford, ME, she was the daughter of the late Jean Paul and Beatrice (Coutu) Sicard, Sr.  She was an accountant at Sunlife Financial in Wellesley, MA.  Ruth enjoyed playing bingo.  
Calling hours will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 9-10:30AM, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  Burial will immediately follow at 11AM at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Oak Ridge Street, Southbridge, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little People of America, Inc.
