Ronald G. Corriveau

Southbridge...Ronald G. Corriveau, 81, a lifelong resident of Southbridge, died November 27, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital, after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of nearly 64 years, Georgette I. (Renaud) Corriveau.  They were married February 15, 1958.
He also leaves 2 sons Brian Corriveau and his partner Joseph Madison of E. Brookfield, Derek Corriveau and his husband Michael LaCava of Worcester, and daughter Debra and her husband John Curran of Spencer. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Shawn Curran, Shannon Curran, Chad Girard, and Livia LaCava, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers Roland Corriveau of Port St. Lucie, FL, and George Corriveau, Jr. of Southbridge.  He was predeceased by a son Russell Corriveau who died in 1983.

Ronald was born in Southbridge, son of George and Alma Y. (Duquette) Corriveau.  He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, and was a lifelong member of Notre Dame Church. He retired as production supervisor/manager from the Worcester Telegram & Gazette where he worked for 43 years.

Ronald enjoyed hunting, sailing, doing home improvement projects, and loved spending time with his family, and his dog "Sassy".

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, with a Mass at 11AM at Notre Dame Church (meet directly at the church), 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  Calling hours will be Friday, December 10th at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge from 5-7PM.  Burial will be private.
