Roger Pierre Goudreau

Margate, FL/Southbridge....Roger Pierre Goudreau, 80, of Margate, Florida passed away on August 8, 2019.

Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia (Julian) Goudreau, daughter, Christine Piehl, son Joseph Goudreau and his wife Ruth, and daughter Kerrie Paquette and her husband Bob, all of Florida.  He also leaves his brother Alfred Goudreau of Florida, and sisters Doris Goudreau of Charlton,  and Anita Boiteau and her husband Nelson, all of Florida,  nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren and loved by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Goudreau, and sister-in-laws Gloria Goudreau and Carol Goudreau.

He was born on November 10, 1938, son of Alfred and Lena (Mandeville) Goudreau, and lived many years in Southbridge, before moving to Florida 30 years ago.

Roger was a US Navy veteran and also served in the National Guard for many years. He was a Past Commander of the Franco American Veterans and the VFW.

A funeral Mass will be held on August 5, 2020, at 10AM at Saint Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550, with burial to follow at St Mary's Cemetery, Charlton Street, Southbridge, MA
