Roger J Blais

Southbridge...Roger J. Blais, 83, died Thursday, January 23, 2025, at UMass Memorial Health/Harrington, after an illness.  He leaves his wife of 61 years, Nancy L. (Bourbeau) Blais. They were married November 30, 1963.

He is survived by his children: Brian and his wife Denise Blais of Sturbridge, Chad I. Blais and his wife Holly of Virginia, Toby A. and his wife Meagan Blais of Southbridge, Kelly F. and her husband James Beasley of South Carolina, Wendy Ferschke of Southbridge, Shantell C. Ritchotte and her husband Paul of Southbridge, and Danielle L. Nichols of Southbridge. He also leaves 23 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, and his sister Elizabeth Jones of North Carolina.  He was predeceased by his brother Robert Blais, and his sister Nancy Beasley. 

He was born in Southbridge, son of the late Leonard and Rita (Cournoyer) Blais and has lived here most of his life.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Southbridge. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1959-1963. He retired as a supervisor from Hyde Manufacturing where he worked for many years. 

Funeral services will be private.
