Robert "Bob" G. Mandeville

Southbridge - Robert G. Mandeville, 89, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Webster, MA.

Born  August 3, 1931, Bob was the son of the late Alberic and Eva (Beaudreault) Mandeville.  He is survived by his sister, Constance Mandeville, of Southbridge, MA. 

Bob attended the former Cole Trade High School, and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Bob retired from the former American Optical Company where he worked for over 40 years as a tool and die maker.  He enjoyed swimming at the YMCA.

Bob's Funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA, at 10AM.  Burial with Military Honors immediately followed at New Notre Dame Cemetery, North Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA.  In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a memorial donation in Bob's name to one of the following: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; St. John Paul 2nd, 279 Hamilton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550; or the YMCA, 43 Everett Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  www.sansoucyfuneral.com
