Richard "Rick" Provost

Mr. Richard J. Provost, Sr. passed away in Georgia on March 22, 2025, at the age of 71 years old. 

Richard “Rick” was born in St Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada and moved to Massachusetts at the age of two when his parents moved to Southbridge.

He was the son of the late Rene and Gertrude Provost. Richard spent many years living in Monson until moving to Georgia to live with his daughter in 2021.

He leaves his son Richard Jr. (Lori) of Charlton, MA and his grandchildren Alyssa Maldonado, Olivia Provost, Elizabeth Goyette, Kali Provost and Connor Provost.. He also leaves his daughter Patricia Collins (Brandon) of Chatsworth, GA, and grandchildren, Colt Savard, and Isabella Harridge.  He also leaves a sister Nicole Guyette of Quinebaug CT, and two brothers Daniel Provost of Dallas and Marcel Provost of Montreal.. 

He attended Southbridge High, and graduated from Tantasqua Regional HIgh School, Class of 1971.

Burial will be at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge at a date and time to be announced.
