Only recently did I learn of Rene's involvement in the Normandy invasion, but I know that he was most responsible for protecting us from toxic leachate being brought to Sandersdale, saving thousands from serious health risks, so he helped protect both democracy and the public health- a very honorable Legacy.

My sincere condolences to his family.
