Paul LeBlanc, 76, of Charlton, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at UMass Harrington Hospital after a short illness.
Born to the late Ernest and Rose LeBlanc of Southbridge, Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jo Ann; his daughter Nicole and her husband John Bissell of Charlton; and his son Michael and his wife Katelyn of Charlton. Paul was the proud grandfather of Kayleigh and Ryan Bissell, and Christian and Kinsley LeBlanc, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his sister Marguerite “Peg” and her husband Armand “Bud” Bachand of Southbridge, and his sister- and brother-in-law Judy and Brian O’Hearn of West Boylston, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Paul was predeceased by his brother-in-law Jeffrey Donais of Goffstown, NH.
A graduate of Marianhill High School, Class of 1968, Paul also studied at the La Salette Seminary. He worked as an electrician for many years with LaRochelle Electric and Maly Electric before finishing his career as head custodian at Mason Road School with the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District. Following retirement, Paul enjoyed monthly meetings with fellow retirees, cheering on the Red Sox and his beloved Patriots, and listening to his favorite band, The Beach Boys.
Paul was a man who took pride in his work, whether solving mechanical puzzles, caring for his home, or keeping the pool in pristine condition for summer afternoons with his grandchildren. He cherished family trips to Cape Cod, the White Mountains, and Topsail Island. Though a man of few words, Paul’s presence brought warmth, steadiness, and joy to every gathering.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Life Care Center of Auburn, The Overlook in Charlton, and Harrington Hospital for their care and support over the past few months.
