Southbridge...Paul L. Arpin, 73, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Southbridge Rehab & Health Care Center.
He is survived by his son David L. Arpin and his fiancée Jill of Webster, and his daughter Mary Jane Arpin of Southbridge, his granddaughter Freyja Arpin, and 2 brothers Mark J. Arpin and his fiancée Beverley of Warren, and Peter R. Arpin of Brookfield. He also leaves 4 nephews and 1 niece, and cousins.
Paul was born in Worcester, son of Robert and Veronique (Peloquin) Arpin and lived in Southbridge all his life. He was an active member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Southbridge where he was an altar server, and also worked in maintenance for the church. He graduated from Marianhill Central Catholic High School, Class of 1967.
He retired from Schott Fiber Optics, and previously worked at the American Optical Company for many years. He was a veteran serving 6 years in the US Air Force.
Paul enjoyed reading, and watching television.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3-5PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Military Honors will be held in the funeral home at 5PM. Burial services will be private.
