Patricia "Pattie" Ann Sasse

Southbridge..Patricia (Pattie) Ann Sasse, 60, passed away with Veronica Heimall, a devoted friend "who she called Mom", by her side at UMass Hospital in Worcester, MA on June 11, 2025. 

Pattie had a love for the ocean, music, animals and playing cards, especially, 500 Rummy! Her journey in life was not always easy. She was a survivor in many aspects of the word. She touched the lives of those she would meet with her giving, generous heart, her infectious laugh and her "sass" that was all her own! There was something about her that drew you to love her after being in her presence or providing care for her. With that being said, a special "thank you" to all the Medical staff/caregivers at Harrington Hospital, UMass Memorial and Southbridge Rehab & Health Care Center for the support and care that was bestowed upon
Pattie at a very critical time. 

Pattie is predeceased by her mother, Janet Sasse and her beloved sister, Karin Salois, who were from Great Falls, MO. She leaves her father, Donald Sasse, of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Donald Sasse, of Worcester, MA, and James Roberts, of Grand Forks, ND; a sister, Sondra McKale, of Tucson, AZ; and "sacrificial gifts of love" Megan, Taylor and their children; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. 

A calling hour for Pattie will be Friday, July 18, 2025, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA from 2-3PM, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 3PM.
