Brookfield - Patricia Ann (Benoit) Durocher, 80, beloved wife of John Durocher, died Thursday, April 30, 2026 after a sudden illness.
Pat was born April 10, 1946, in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Gerard A. and Beatrice R. (Brousseau) Benoit. She was a graduate of the former David Hale Fanning Trade School (commonly called "Girls Trade") in Worcester. She was a Registered Medical Assistant, and worked many years for the Reliant Medical Group. Pat enjoyed golfing and reading. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley, MA.
John and Pat were married July 23, 2011. In addition to her husband, Pat is also survived by her sons: Jason E. P. Ekstrom and his wife, Courtney, of Dudley; Michael P. Durocher and his wife, Lynn, of Sturbridge; and Joseph G. Durocher and his wife, Katie, of Clinton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Alexandra Elizabeth Ekstrom, Jameson Adam Durocher, Cayden Durocher, and Connor Durocher, as well as by her sisters: Jacqueline Valle and her husband, Richard, of Dudley; Cecile Bernier and her husband, Francis, of Dudley; Donna Marie Gilmore and her husband, Richard, of Charlton; Dorothy Starcez and her husband, Paul, of Charlton; and Darlene Tetreault of Charlton. Pat was predeceased by her son, Scott Rogers, who died November 11, 2023.
A Funeral Mass for Pat will be at 11AM on Monday, May 18 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley, MA 01571. Burial will be held privately at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you kindly consider making memorial donation in Pat's name to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA is assisting the family with Pat's arrangements.
