Norman R. Lamoureux

Wales...Norman R. Lamoureux, 76, died at home Sunday, April 12, 2026, with his loving wife by his side, after a long illness. He leaves his wife Nancy (Caplette) Lamoureux, whom he married December 31, 1978.
He also leaves his children: Jason Lamoureux, Amado Lamoureux, Nathaniel Lamoureux, Ursula (Jeff) John, Lyle Lamoureux, Dana (Diana) Sanelli, Jessica (Ryan) Dwyer, Tyler Michaud, Kelly Murphy, and Kathy Antinarella. He also leaves his 10 grandchildren, and a great-grandson, his sister-in-law Diane Caplette, and brother-in-law Richard Caplette, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his brothers Paul Plante, Robert Plante, Marcel Plante and his sister Odette Luazcz.
He was predeceased by his brother Albert Plante and a sister Yvonne Washburn.

Norman was born in Marlborough, son of Armand and Marie (Plante) Lamoureux and lived in Southbridge and Dudley before moving to Wales. He graduated from the former Cole Trade High School, and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He retired from Honeywell, where he worked as a quality engineer.

He and Nancy were "specialized foster parents" for 40 years. He enjoyed traveling and his many cruises to the Carribean, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was an avid guitar player, and was a guitarist with the band of Mickey and the Motions, with Mickey McDonald, David Chamberland, Mike Gendreau, and Ken LaRochelle.

Funeral services will be private. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge is assisting the family with the arrangements.
