Norma "Doll" J (Theriault) Gardecki

Dudley...Norma “Doll” J. (Theriault) Rousseau Gardecki, 68 died on Friday, December 29, 2023, at home following a long illness. She is survived by her son Brandy Rousseau and his wife Erin of Dudley; her daughter Tonia Kahl and her husband Nicholas of Winter Springs, FL; and 3 grandchildren: Alani Rousseau, Bryce Rousseau and Kailynn Kahl. She is survived by her brothers Pierre Theriault and his wife Carol of Charlton, MA and Ronald Sherbert and his partner Eronica Aljoe of Woodstock, CT; her former husband Frank Gardecki of Dudley, and many nieces and nephews; and extended family members. 

Born in Southbridge, MA on April 19, 1955. Norma (Doll) is the daughter of the late Francis Theriault, and the late Gertrude (Richard) Sherbert. She is also predeceased by her stepfather Richard Sherbert and her siblings Richard Theriault and Linda “Twig” Sherbert. 

She was a member of St John Paul II Parish, and graduated from Southbridge High School. She worked for many years as a medical secretary, retiring due to illness.  Many years ago she was a member of the Southbridge Women's Softball League.  

The funeral will be on January 4, 2024, from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with a Mass at 10AM at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery, 746 N. Woodstock Rd, Southbridge. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
