Michael E. Szyszko

Holland ~ Michael E. Szyszko, 58, died at his home on Sunday, May 18, 2025, following an illness.

Born in Holyoke, MA on September 7, 1966, he was the son of the late Edward Szyszko.  Mike was a graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School with the class of 1984.  Before retiring, Mike continued to work for Tantasqua as a school bus mechanic.  He was a passionate NASCAR fan, as well as a fan of the New England Patriots.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, and going on adventures and vacations with his wife and son. He also enjoyed cooking.  Mike was the kind of man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who might need it.

Mike is survived by his wife Sandra (Lavigne) Szyszko, whom he married on June 4, 2005, and their son, Michael E. Szyszko, Jr., of Holland.  He is also survived by his mother, Mary Ann (Staples) Szyszko, and a brother, John Szyszko, as well as many extended family members and friends.  His brother, Andrew Szyszko, predeceased him.
