Melanie L (Emerson) Naylor

Sturbridge...Melanie L. (Emerson) Naylor, 73, a longtime resident of Sturbridge and Brookfield, died Sunday, December 1, 2024, at UMass Memorial Health Harrington after a long illness. 

 She leaves her  her daughter Nicole Dahrouj and her companion Keith Churchill of Sturbridge, son Colby Naylor and his wife Alicia of Sturbridge, and her three grandchildren: Mason Dahrouj and his wife  Autumn of Southbridge, Joshua Dahrouj of Sturbridge, Kayden Naylor of Sturbridge, her brother Vern Emerson of Holland, and her sister Karen Davis of Charlton. She also leaves her former husband Dennis Naylor and son-in-law Roy Dahrouj. She predeceased by her granddaughter Maya Dahrouj who died June 23, 2017.

Melanie was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Tremblay) Emerson. She graduated from Tantasqua Regional Vocational High School, and a longtime member of St. Anne/St. Patrick's Church in Fiskdale. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, shopping, but most of all loved her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 4-6PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge. The funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, Friday, December 20, 2024,  at St. Anne's Church, 16 Church Street, Fiskdale, MA 01518
