Maureen A. Morrissey-Jacques (Provost)

Southbridge...Maureen A. Morrissey-Jacques (Provost), 78, died Wednesday, August 5th, at UMass Memorial Medical Center after being stricken ill at home.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Jacques and her companion Steven Kroll of Dudley and Brenda Jacques of Southbridge, a brother Raymond Morrissey of Southbridge. She also leaves 3 grandchildren Jayna Dumas, Kaylee and Kristina Lynch, and 2 great-grandchildren Braylon Sims and Rosemary Fernandez, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Bernard Morrissey, and sisters Frances Morse and Carrie Bertrand.
She was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Bernard and Florence (Chouinard) Morrissey.  She was a devout Catholic and was member of St. John Paul II Parish.
She enjoyed listening to country music, the "oldies of the 50's through 80's", she enjoyed good food, especially her snacks, but most of all she loved her family.
A funeral Mass at 10am will be held on August 24th, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  Burial will be private.
