Mary Ann (Staples) Szyszko

Holland ~ Mary Ann (Staples) Szyszko, 82, died Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Harrington Memorial Hospital.  

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (Bender) Staples.  Mary Ann worked for many years at the former Wright's Manufacturing in Ware, MA.  She enjoyed yard work.  She also enjoyed the many bustrips she took with the Lizak Bus Company.

Mary Ann's husband, Edward Szyszko, died in 1995.  She is survived by her son, John Szyszko; her daughter-in-law, Sandra (Lavigne) Szyszko; her grandson, Michael E. Szyszko; a sister, Kathryn Whitcomb, and her husband Barry, and her sister in-law, Doris Szyszko.  Mary Ann was predeceased by her sons, Michael Szyszko, who died May 18, 2025, and Andrew Szyszko, who died in 2018.
