Mark C. Jourdenais

Southbridge...Mark C Jourdenais, 62, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at UMass Memorial Health/Harrington.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 35 years, Karen E. (Shailer) Jourdenais.  They were married October 3, 1987.

He also leaves his daughter Corinne Jourdenais and her companion Jadbiel Rivera of Dudley, his grandson Roman Jadbiel Jourdenais Rivera, his 2 sisters Shari (Jourdenais) and her husband Christopher Carrington of Southbridge,  and Kristin (Jourdenais) and her husband Michael Mayotte of Dudley. He also leaves 4 nephews Steven Carrington and his wife, Heather, of N. Brookfield; Brian Carrington and his wife, Lauren, of Warren, MA; Bradley Mayotte and Jason Mayotte, both of Dudley. He also leaves his step-mother Barbara (Plante) Jourdenais of Dudley, and his father-in-law Paul Shailer of Brookfield, and many extended family and friends.

He was born in Southbridge, son of the late Charles Jourdenais and Elizabeth (Morrell) Paulhus, and predeceased by his step-father Roland Paulhus. Mark graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational High School, Class of 1977, and was a member of Notre Dame Church (St. John Paul II Parish).  He was the maintenance supervisor employed at Photonis Scientific, Inc. in Sturbridge.

Mark enjoyed cooking for family, loved music, and was a fan of the Red Sox, N.E. Patriots, and a big fan of the Atlanta Braves. He loved his many vacations to Disney with his daughter and his sister Shari. 

Calling hours will be September 23, 2022, from 4-6PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 with a prayer service at 5:30PM.  
Burial will be private.
