Marie M (Meeker) Rafalowski

Marie M. Rafalowski, 94, of West Brookfield, MA, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, she graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1947. Marie worked at AT&T in New York for several years before marrying and moving to Massachusetts. Until her retirement in 1992, Marie worked as a secretary for Thomas Taylor’s and Sons, the Hudson Police Department, Digital Equipment Corp., the Orleans Building Department and the Eastham Fire Department.

Marie is survived by her son Thomas Partington of Sunderland, daughter Judy Partington of Somerville, her grandchildren Rachel Partington, of Whitinsville, Leah Soriano, of Southbridge, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and grand and great-nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her husbands Joseph Rafalowski, Henry Melkunas and William H. Partington; her daughter Mary E. Partington; her brother Harry Meeker, as well as her sisters Mildred Stewart, Jeanne Meeker, Frances Blessing, Doris Troll and Wilma Vick.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookhaven Assisted Care for their kindness and care over the past three years. At Marie’s request, there will be no public services. Funeral services provided by Sansoucy Funeral Home.
