Maria D Rodriguez Orta

Southbridge...Maria D. Rodriguez Orta, 42, died December 28, 2024, at Umass Memorial Medical Center/University Campus, after a long illness.

She is survived by her son Jimmy Jones, Jr., her two daughters Daisha Rodriguez,  and Tatiana Rodriguez all of Southbridge.  She also leaves her mother Rafaela Orta, her brother Jorge Rodriguez, Jr, and her sister Julia Rodriguez, and many extended family members.

Maria was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, daughter of Rafaela Orta and the late Jorge Rodriguez. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish and was a high school graduate and attended college.  She was a licensed beautician and worked at People's Barbershop retiring due to illness. She enjoyed making crafts for family and friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5-7PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge.
