Margaret "Marge" Caron Obituary

In Loving Memory of Margaret Caron

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Margaret Caron on March 2, 2025. Margaret was the beloved wife of Phil Caron, who predeceased her in 1996. She was a cherished friend and an inspiring presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Born on August 17, 1943, in Southbridge, Margaret was the daughter of Roland and Mary Langevin. She graduated from Mary E. Wells High School in 1963 and dedicated her career as an LPN at Harrington Memorial Hospital, touching countless hearts with her kindness and warmth.

Margaret found joy in gardening, interior decorating, and baking, embracing life with a generous spirit and a contagious smile. Her legacy lives on through the stories and memories shared by her family and friends, especially her lifelong companions Connie Bobik and Mary Ann Beauregard, who stood by her side in her later years.

She is survived by her niece Darcy Reil; nephew Gregg and his wife, Amy Langevin; great-nephews and nieces Zachary, Brittany, and Emmerson Langevin; and great-great-niece and nephews Pennsley, Briggs, and Bowen Plevel, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Though she never had children of her own, she had a special bond with her great-nephew Zachary, who lived with her during his studies, as well as with her step-granddaughter Mary Jane Gaumond and step-grandsons Bobby and Jonathan Hitchcock.

The funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on May 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Anne’s Church in Sturbridge, followed by burial at New Notre Dame Cemetery in Southbridge.

Margaret will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
