Southbridge - Madelaine Annette (Foisy) Latini, 68, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Southbridge, the youngest daughter of the late Irene C. (Leduc) and Edmond J. Foisy, and was a lifelong resident of Southbridge. She was predeceased by her oldest sister, Susan G. Foisy, age 10, in 1959, from leukemia, and by her middle sister Claudette Foisy-Ethier in 2008 from ovarian cancer.
Maddy attended Notre Dame School, and was a graduate of the former Marianhill C.C.H.S. class of 1974, and also a graduate of the former Salter Secretarial School of Worcester in 1976. She was the first employee hired for the Elderly Home Care Corp (now Tri-Valley) in 1976 for several years, and later worked for Dr. Fleischer, Luxtec Corp., and Central Mass Healthcare. From 1991-2023, she worked in the office of Dr. William F. Dunn, and later for Primary Focused Care.
She was a lifelong member of Notre Dame and St. John Paul II parish of Southbridge. Her activities there included being a CCD aide, lector, choir member, St. Vincent de Paul member, active for several years in the Chez Ginette Cabaret, Booster Club captain, bingo volunteer, Fall Festival finance committee, couple-to-couple minister, Ladies of St Anne, and Bishop's Fund. She was also a member of the Southbridge Italian Club.
She is survived by her husband, Albert P. Latini, whom she married on October 17, 1981 at Notre Dame Church, and their daughter, Diana C. Latini, both of Southbridge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, from 5-7PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 30, 2025 from Sansoucy Funeral Home with a Mass at 10Am in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. Burial will immediately follow in New Notre Dame Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge.
