Lynnda Lea (McCarthy) LaCroix

Southbridge ~ Lynnda Lea (McCarthy) LaCroix, 72, died Friday, May 17, 2024 at Agawam West Rehab and Nursing Care Facility in Agawam, MA.

Born in Worcester, MA, on August 4, 1951, Lynnda was the daughter of the late Florence Sjoblom and William McCarthy.  She attended Auburn High School.  She worked on the wait staff at the Golden Greek in Southbridge, and later in her life as a medical secretary for many years, until her retirement in 2015.

Lynnda is survived by her two adult children: Stevie LaCroix of Florence MA, and Michael LaCroix of Oakland CA.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Anna LaCroix, Eliza LaCroix, Aibhlinn McCarthy, Saoirse Mulkerrins, and Silas Mulkerrins. Other survivors are her two nephews, Liam McCarthy and DJ McCarthy; and her best friend/chosen sister since the mid 1980's, Kimberly Calcutt.  She is predeceased by her sister, Pamela Sjoblom, who passed away on September 7, 2023.

All funeral services are private for family only.  Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA has been entrusted with Lynnda's care.
