Southbridge...Luis A. Rivera Pena, 64, died July 31, 2024, at Hartford Hospital, after an illness.  He is survived by his 2 sons, Bently Rivera of Texas, and Luis Rivera of Southbridge, and his daughter Bemayri Rivera of Southbridge, 5 grandchildren, Anthony Rivera, Alexis Rivera, Yomal Marrero, Lexmayri Rivera, and Luis Rivera. He leaves 3 brothers, Nector Rivera of New Jersey, Hector Rivera of New Jersey, and Junito Oliveri of Puerto Rico, and 5 sisters, Nessy Rivera of New Jersey, Cuca Atoche of New Jersey, Ivin Rivera of Puerto Rico, Sonia Rivera of Puerto Rico, and Lessenia Rivera of Puerto Rico. He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, February 28 1960, son of Hector Rivera and Leonides Pena.

He was educated in Puerto Rico, obtaining his PhD in education, and was a retired school Principal in Puerto Rico.

Funeral Services will be held in Orocovis, Puerto. Sansoucy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
