Lorraine Rose Corriveau has passed from this life to her eternal home with Jesus Christ on December 31, 2024. Lorraine is the daughter of Theodore J. Bartlett and Corona L. (St. Onge) Bartlett, longtime residents of Southbridge, MA. Lorraine is pre-deceased by her loving husband Edward G. Corriveau and many other beloved members of her extended family and dear friends. She is survived by her sister, Lucille LeBoeuf and brother Theodore Bartlett (Marguerite (Giguère) Bartlett) all of Southbridge, MA.
Her children, Allen Corriveau and Noella Olson (Robert Olson) were the joy of her life. She will be missed by her six grandchildren, Sean Corriveau (Kathleen Corriveau), Jessica Laprel (Robert Laprel), Sarah McCue (Matthew McCue), Kindreth Hamilton (Darren Hamilton), Aaron Olson and Dane Olson (Procheta Olson). Lorraine loved being "Mémère Rose" to her ten great grandchildren, Avery Corriveau, Luke Corriveau, Sophia Laprel, Fiona Laprel, Teagan (Kylo) McCue, Sawyer McCue, Jake Hamilton, Ian Hamilton, Anton Olson and Yohan Amadeus Olson.
For many years, Lorraine was an active member of the Champeau-Vilandre American Legion Auxiliary Post 109, in Fiskdale, MA. She proudly served alongside her husband Gerry, also an active member of the American Legion Post 109. She also served with the Explorers, a youth program in the Sturbridge Police Department.
Lorraine was a talented bowler who contributed to many team victories over the years. She loved the outdoors, camping, open fires, fishing and trips to the beach with her family & friends. Lorraine loved a good time! She especially loved to dance the Polka with her brother-in-law, Pete Bastien, also deceased. The entire Corriveau family was very dear, especially her loving and supportive belle mère, Rose Alma Corriveau of Southbridge, MA.
She loved animals, especially dogs but had an affinity to wolves which brought a unique delight to her family in many ways. Memories of Lorraine, Mémère, Mémère Rose, Aunt Lorraine will be ever cherished. She walks the Streets of Gold.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne in Fiskdale, MA on January 10, at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at St. Anne Cemetery immediately following the mass. Flowers are acceptable, and may be sent to the funeral home.
