Lisa D. (Pease) Lazo

Southbridge...Lisa D. (Pease) Lazo, 58, died at home Monday, December 10th. She leaves her husband of 35 years Scott Lazo.  They were married March 12, 1983. 
She also leaves her son Jacob Lazo of Southbridge, and 4 daughters Elizabeth Lazo-Singh and her husband Dexter of Tolland, CT, Ashley Lazo and her husband Timothy Arpin of New Rochelle, NY, Samantha Dhosi Lazo of Manchester, CT, Hannah Lazo of Southbridge and 3 grandchildren Solomon Singh, Sebastian Singh, and Sammi Singh all of Tolland, CT. She also leaves her mother Shirley Stengel of Southbridge, and her sister Patricia Dufresne of Southbridge, nieces and nephews.

Lisa was born in Nuremberg, Germany, daughter of the late Lawrence Pease, and Shirley (Stengel) Pease. She graduated from  Ponaganset High School in RI, and later obtained her Associates Degree.
A wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, dog-mom, and coach, Lisa Lazo wore many hats.  Aside from making sure everyone around her felt loved and was well fed, she enjoyed dance parties in the car with her favorite daughter Hannah, cheering on the Patriots with her husband, and endlessly sewing matching outfits for her children.  From hosting Pop Warner sleepovers to making prom dresses for anyone who needed one, her selfless spirit was contagious. While Lisa's warmth and love was felt by many, she showered her grandchildren Solomon, Sebastian, and Sammi with it most--they will forever miss their "Ga."
Calling hours will be Friday, December 14th, from 4-7PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. 
Private burial services will be held for the immediate family.
