Sturbridge...Leroy A. Singleton, II, 62, died at home, Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He is survived by his wife Diane V. Jordan Singleton, whom he married November 25, 1992.
He leaves his mother Catherine (Stanford) Singleton of Columbus, Ohio, his son Leroy A. Singleton, III, of California, 2 brothers Darrell Singleton of Columbus, Ohio, and Lee Singleton of Dayton, Ohio, and 2 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.. He was predeceased by his father Leroy A. Singleton, Sr., and a brother John I. Singleton, and a sister Debra A. Singleton.
He was born June 11, 1959, at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. He enlisted in the US Navy, serving for over 20 years, retiring in 1997. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked for the United States Postal Service, and was presently the Postmaster of Sturbridge. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family.
A funeral home service will be held on Friday, January 28 2022, at 11:30AM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Burial will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
