LALA B. (NORTH) WADDEN

N. Brookfield, MA/Campobello Island, New Brunwick...Lala B. (North) Wadden, 86, died April 19, 2021, at The Meadows of Central MA in Leicester.  Her husband was the late Sidney Wadden who died in 1988.

She is survived by 3 sons: Norman Wadden and his wife Valerie of Rochdale, Michael Wadden of Paxton, Bruce Wadden and his wife Linda of Brookfield, and 2 daughters Patricia Wadden and her husband Craig Thompson of Brookfield, and Shelley and her husband Eric Lambert of Oxford, 17 grandchildren, and many great- and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sons Frederick and Brian Wadden and granddaughter Merideth Riddle.  

Mrs. Wadden was born in Gardner, MA, daughter of Clifton and Nettie (Finch) North, but was raised in Campobello Island, New Brunswick, a place she always thought of as home.  She worked hard all her life, but in retirement took up hiking and even at age 80 walked 8 miles a day.  She loved spending time with her family, especially family vacations "home" to Campobello.  

Per Lala's wishes, there are no calling hours, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 is handling the arrangements
