Charlton....Kenneth K. Stokowski, 70, died suddenly Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center/University Campus with his family by his side. He leaves his loving wife, Catherine (Dumas) Stokowski, whom he married on May 12, 1973.
He leaves his three loving children. His son Keith Stokowski, his daughter Erin and her husband Brandy Rousseau, and daughter Laura Stokowski all of Dudley, He leaves his three beautiful grandchildren Alani and Bryce Rousseau and Nathan Prunier.
Mr. Stokowski also leaves his brother James Stokowski of Tarpon Springs, FL. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Stokowski of N. Dorchester, NH and previously of Millbury, MA.
Ken was born in Worcester, May 31, 1951, son of the late Raymond and Helen (Raymond) Stokowski. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School, and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Charlton. He worked at Wyman-Gordon where his career as a machinist began in 1970. With his hard work ethic he excelled to becoming a CNC Programmer and then a Manufacturing Engineer before retiring in 2019.
Ken enjoyed playing golf with his son and his friends, he enjoyed fishing in Gloucester. He stayed busy working on home projects for the family and was happy to do so. He was very knowledgeable with cars and liked to work on them.
His greatest joy in life was his family. Whether it be giving a helping hand, giving great life advice, or making a silly joke to make them laugh.
Ken was a beacon of light to every life he touched and he will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the chapel at Notre Dame Cemetery & Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
