Julia Rodriguez, 85, formerly of Southbridge, died at home Thursday, December 17th, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her 2 sons and their wives Eulogio Rios and his wife Barbara of Seminole, Florida, Ruben Rios and his wife Severina of Southbridge, and 2 daughters Maria Roman, and Myrna Roman both of Worcester, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves 3 brothers Carlos Rodriguez of Southbridge, Pedro Rodriguez of Brooklyn, NY, Angel Rodriguez and his wife Nancy of Florida, and 4 sisters Maria Dingui and her husband Jose of Southbridge, Irma Santana and her husband Ruben of Brooklyn, NY, Rosario Rodriguez of Brooklyn, NY and Ana Allende of Puerto Rico, and many nieces and nephews.
Julia was born in Manati, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan Rodriguez and Juana Espino, and has lived here for many years.
She was a former member of Saint Mary's Church, and retired from the American Optical Co. where she worked for over 25 years. and also was formerly employed at Rom's Restaurant in Sturbridge for many years. She most enjoyed spending time with her family.

The funeral will be Monday, December 21, 2020. from Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with the funeral Mass at 10AM at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Charlton Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. Calling hours will be Sunday, December 20th, from 5-7PM. Masks and social distancing will be required.
