It is with sad hearts, but with grateful spirits, that her seven children announce the passing of their beloved Mum, Judith Grignon. She passed peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, MA.
Judy was born In Bristol, England, on August 20, 1938, yet she only became a U.S. citizen on March 4, 2026. She possessed a huge maternal heart, an artistic imagination, and the gift for making her house truly a home. She loved to read, garden, play Scrabble, and spend as much time with her family as she could. She also enjoyed travel, especially her yearly treks to Bailey Island, Maine. She loved to sit by her window watching the birds at the feeder, with a large cup of tea in her hand.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Herbert (8/10/1932 - 8/14/2010), her mother Flora Bristow, and her father Vivian Bristow. Judy leaves behind seven children: William, James, Joseph, Paul, Wendy, Hansie, and Herb. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as her sister Wendy, her brother Dave and many extended family members.
You are deeply loved, and many great memories will live on in our hearts. Thank you for being our Mum and Nanny.
