Woodstock...Judi A. Nelson, 55, died Monday, June 2, 2025, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She is survived by her daughter Joanna Nelson of Woodstock and her grandson Leeland, and her life partner and soulmate Stephen Travinski of Woodstock. She also leaves her brothers: Richie, John, Arthur, Ernie, Mark and her sisters Charlotte, Darlene, Tina, Jayne, Nancy, Kara, Wendy and Marla, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her step-mother Nancy Nelson. She was predeceased by her brothers Duane, Michael, and her sister Tammy.
She was born in Southbridge, daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Taylor) Nelson, and graduated from Oxford High School in 1988.
She formerly owned Shire Cafe in Putnam for many years and previously worked for 14 years at the Center of Hope. Judi enjoyed gardening and had a fondness for cows.
A graveside service at 11:00AM will be held on June 16, 2025, at WestRidge Cemetery in Charlton.
The family ask that those attending the graveside service please wear something tie-dyed and to wear very casual clothing.
