Born on May 7, 1954, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, Juan was the son of Geracimo and Mercedes Colón. He worked for 45 years at Rand-Whitney Container in Worcester, MA, retiring in 2019 as a Supervisor. A devoted member of St. Mary’s Church in Southbridge, Juan took great pride in caring for his home and was known as an accomplished handyman — a true jack of all trades. If he didn’t know how to do something, he would teach himself, whether by reading or, more recently, by watching YouTube videos.
Juan will be remembered for his incredible strength and courage throughout the last few months as he faced significant changes in his health. His determination, resilience, and faith were an inspiration to everyone around him.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge.
