Josephine "Josie" M. (Waskiewicz) Choinski

Southbridge...Josephine "Josie" (Waskiewicz) Choinski, 91, a lifelong resident of Southbridge, died July 9, 2021, at Webster Manor. Her husband was the late Stanley J. Choinski who died in 2015.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Stanley R. Choinski and his wife Leslie of Brimfield, and Steven S. Choinski of Southbridge, 3 grandchildren Kimberley Robida of Woodstock, Kristy Choinski of Southbridge, Keith Choinski of Eastford, CT and 5 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves 2 brothers, Steven Waskiewicz of Southbridge, and Edward Waskiewicz of Jacksonville, FL.  She was predeceased by her brother Richard Waskiewicz.

She was born in Southbridge, daughter of Walenty (Walter) and Josephine (Kaczowka) Waskiewicz.  She was a member of the former St. Hedwig's Church, now of St. John Paul II Parish, and worked at Incom and Russell Harrington before retiring.  Josie enjoyed gardening, rug braiding, and loved to shop at Big Bunny Market.
