Joseph Bialy Obituary

Webster...Joseph P. Bialy, 78, died Saturday, October 4, 2025.  His wife of 34 years was the late Kathleen M. (Sullivan) Bialy, who died October 23, 2006.

He leaves his son, Joseph P. Bialy III and his wife, Brittany, of Charlton; his daughters Kathleen Moore and her husband, Luke, of Holden, and Jewelia Bialy, and her partner, Eric Giombetti, of Coventry, CT; and his grandson, Jacob Moore, of Holden.  He also leaves his partner, Rose Leo, of Webster.

He was born in Worcester, March 14, 1947, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Lenky) Bialy, and lived many years in Charlton before moving to Webster.  Mr. Bialy was graduate of Assumption College where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree, and his Master's of Education from Worcester State College.  He worked for 27 years as an Educator, and served as Principal for 20 of those years, in the Southbridge School System.  He served in the US Army, and is employed by the Department of Defense as the Director of Recruiting. He was also actively involved with the Alumni Association of Assumption University. He was a man who loved to work.  In his spare time, Joe enjoyed fly fishing, cars (especially Corvettes), golf, tennis, sports of all kinds, and working out at the YMCA.  He was especially proud of his children, and Jacob was the light of his life.  

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5-7PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  The Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 10, 2025 at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Road Extension, Charlton, MA 01507.  Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at West Ridge Cemetery, Main Street, Charlton, MA.
