Jose L. Serrano

Southbridge ~ Jose Luis Serrano passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the University of Massachusetts Hospital, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester, MA.

He leaves behind his sons, Jonathan Alden and Jayce Serrano; his mother, Maria Serrano; his brothers, Jose, Luis, Rafael, Salvador, and Walter Serrano; and his sisters, Margarita and Lucy. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Jose was predeceased by Manuel Serrano, Genie Serrano, and Milagros Serrano. His longtime companion and soulmate, Carmen Aponte, passed away on November 7th 2020.

Jose lived in Southbridge most of his life, where everyone knew him as Chewi.

Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA  is entrusted with Jose's private funeral arrangements.   Burial will be at a later date.
