Auburn/Southbridge...Jonathan Tyler Rossi, 32, died Monday, March 20, 2023..
He is survived by his mother Evelyn Gonzalez Rossi of Auburn, his sister Stephanie Gonzalez of Millbury, and his father Rick Rossi of Athol. Jonathan was born in Worcester, and lived most of his life in Southbridge before moving to Auburn. He was a graduate of Southbridge High School. He worked in retail, most recently for Amazon and Macy's. Jon was a lover of all things video games - especially Mario. He found his passion in the expressive arts; as a bass guitarist in a band for many years, attending many live music performances, listening to music, reading, writing and performing his poetry, and singing at and hosting karaoke events. Jon could often be found spending time with his dearest friend, Jennifer Davison, and gathering with friends at Starlite.
Jon was a kind and gentle soul who easily lit up any room he entered with his soft spirit and infectious smile. He was loved fiercely by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The funeral will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, with a calling hour from 8:30-9:30AM, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, with the funeral mass to follow at 10AM at Saint Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Charlton Street, Southbridge.
