Janice M. (Milligan) Blouin

Charlton...Janice M. (Milligan) Bassan Blouin, 86, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Harrington Memorial Hospital, after being stricken ill at home. Her husband was the late Gilles Blouin and her first husband was Earl Bassan.

She is survived by son John Bassan and his wife Weiling of Charlton, and four daughters Susan Boyle and her husband Tom of Oxford, Gail and her husband "Chuck" Charles McConnell of Charlton, Debra Bassan of Spencer, and Kathleen McQuade and her husband Bob of Arizona, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also leaves a sister Bonnie Washburn and her husband John of Sutton, and a sister-in-law Carolyn Milligan of Oxford.  She was predeceased by her brother Harry Milligan, Jr, and her sisters Lois Boyce and Gloria Milligan.
Mrs. Blouin was born in Worcester, April 1, 1934, daughter of Harry and Laura (Rowe) Milligan and has lived in Charlton for many years. She retired from Beldon Wire of Shrewsbury, where she worked as an extruder operator for many years, and she also previously worked at the American Optical Co.in Southbridge.
where she worked for many years.  She enjoyed sewing, horses, gardening, swimming, water skiing and cooking, and was also a dog breeder.
Private graveside services will be held privately.
