Grace E. (Fitts) Lavallee

Southbridge - Grace E. (Fitts) Lavallee, 87, died at her home on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Grace's husband of 43 years, Roger A. Lavallee, died August 20, 2003.  They were married on April 30, 1960.  She is survived by her three children: Roger Lavallee and his fiancé, Kim Blais, of Worcester; Sharon Lavallee and her fiancé, Peter Blash, of N. Grosvenordale, CT; and Michelle Lavallee and her partner, Peter Mascitelli of Danielson, CT;  4 grandchildren: Josh Lavallee and his wife, Courtney; Chloe Terrell; Hayden Terrell; and Jason George; and 2 great-grandchildren: Ayden Lavallee and Lianna Lavallee.  She also leaves nephews and nieces.  Grace was predeceased by her brother, Emery "Sonny" Fitts, who died December 1, 2025, and her sister, Ruth Lavallee, who died July 11, 2009.  

Grace retired after many years of work as a customer service agent for the former McKinstry Oil Company, as well as for the Southbridge News.  She enjoyed traveling, and country music.  She especially enjoyed sitting at the ocean and listening to the waves.  

Calling hours will be held from 9:30 - 10:30AM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge.  Burial will immediately follow at New Notre Dame Cemetery, N. Woodstock Road, Southbridge.
