Frank T. Gardecki

Frank T. Gardecki, 60, of Dudley, MA, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.  He was born on May 2, 1964, in Southbridge, MA, to the late Thomas and Jeannette (Hejwosz) Gardecki Fournier.  

Frank is survived by his two sons, Christopher Gardecki and his wife, Courtney, of Philadelphia, PA, and Bryan Gardecki and his significant other, Jacinda, of Dudley, MA. He also leaves his two stepchildren, Brandy Rousseau and his wife, Erin, of Dudley, MA, and Tonia Kahl and her husband, Nicholas, of Winter Springs, FL; and his grandchildren Alani, Bryce, Kailynn, Brayden, Jayce, Amiyah, Ivy and Deacan. He was preceded by his wife, Norma J. (Theriault) Gardecki, who died December 29, 2023.  

Frank graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School with the class of 1982. He worked for Whitinsville Water Company. Frank was known for always being there to help. He dedicated over 20 years of service to the Dudley Fire Department, eventually rising to the rank of Chief in 1994. He enjoyed listening to music by the fire, playing pitch, and darts. Most of all, he loved spending time with family.  He was a member of the Southbridge Lions Club, and of St. John Paul II Parish.  

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 5-7PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA.  There will be a funeral home prayer service Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:30AM, immediately followed by burial in New Notre Dame Church, North Woodstock Road, Southbridge, MA.  The family asks in lieu of flowers that you kindly consider making a memorial donation to the Southbridge Lions Club, PO Box 622, Southbridge, MA 01550.
