Felicita (Otero) Hernandez

Southbridge...Felicita Otero- Hernandez, 89, a longtime resident of Southbridge, died Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Webster Manor. 

She is survived by her son José Juan Maldonado Hernandez, and 2 daughters Julia Rosa Madonado Hernandez and Rosaida Maysonet. She also leaves her grandchildren: Obed Morales Maldonado, Yazmin De los Angeles Mercado Maldonado, Marysol Maldonado Martinez, Juan Antonio Maldonado Martinez and Armando José Torres and her great-grandchildren: Jabed Eduardo Morales Quiles, Yaziel Gabriel Morles Mercado, Valeria Morles Quiles, Ian Alberto Morales Mercado, Jaliany Marie Cruz, Jaime Alexander Cruz, and Ellyanna Maldonado; her brothers  José Antonio Hernandez and Francisco Hernandez; and 5 sisters: Aida Hernandez, Violeta Hernandez, Matilde Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Provi Hernandez, and Ana Hernandez.

Mrs. Hernandez was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, daughter of José Hernandez Miranda and Rosario Otero, and lived here for most of her life. She was a longtime member of Saint Mary's Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5-7PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA. Burial services will be in Puerto Rico.
