Southbridge - Fabian Lopez-Miranda, 32, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, on May 18, 1993, Fabian was the son of the late Maria Miranda. He is survived by his girlfriend of many years, Frances Santiago and her son, Jay Santiago, of Southbridge; his brother, Joel Miranda and Joel's girlfriend, Lisandra Serrano, of Southbridge; his aunt, Luz M. Morales, of Southbridge, who was also his adoptive mother; his niece and nephew, Elysiani and Juan; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his three beloved dogs: Meeko, Maya, and Mitzi. Fabian was predeceased by a brother, Juan Lopez.
Fabian was a graduate of Bay Path Vocational High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Jet Blue at Logan International Airport as a jet engine mechanic. Fabian was a video game enthusiast. In his teenage years, Fabian was an avid boxer and a member of the Uptown Boxing Gym. To his close family, he was known as "the dog whisperer" because of his special way with animals. Fabian had a unique, caring connection with every animal he encountered.
A quiet man of few words, Fabian’s kindness and compassion spoke volumes. He lived with a selfless heart, always putting others before himself and making sure his loved ones were cared for and supported. Fabian will be remembered for his warmth, his thoughtfulness, and the deep love he shared with everyone around him.
Calling hours will be Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 4-6PM at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.
