Obituary

Southbridge...Evelyn L. (Ohop) Talbot, 96, died Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Southbridge Rehab & Healthcare Center. 

She is survived by her daughter Betty Gregson of Southbridge, and her son Robert Talbot of Warrenton, Virginia. She also leaves her sister Delia Targonski of Southbridge, 3 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews..  She was predeceased by her son Earl Talbot, her grandson Todd Zella, her brothers: Bernard, Chester, Stephen, Walter, Edward, Ralph, and her sisters Wanda Ohop, and Isabel Zigadlo, and her daughter-in-law Darlene Talbot of Warrenton, VA.

Mrs. Talbot enjoyed bird feeding/watching, Bingo, television, going to the casino, growing house plants, and was most  proud of her Polish heritage, and listening to polka music.  She also loved the color purple.

The family would like to especially thank her caretaker Veronica Ziemba, whom she loved as a granddaughter.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge from 9:30-11AM.
